What are Google Cloud managed services?

A Google Cloud managed service provider runs day-to-day support for your Google Workspace and Google Cloud: your users and admins come to it first, it fixes what it can, and it takes platform issues to Google support when Google has to act.

That's how Google's own partner model works. Partners in Google Cloud's Partner-led Support triage and troubleshoot first and file cases with Google Cloud Support for platform issues. A Google Workspace reseller handles account, access, domain and billing questions, and opens Google support cases for you once you've given it permission to access your account. Suitebriar is an authorized Google Workspace reseller with a direct escalation line to senior members of Google support.

How Santa Cruz Bicycles uses Suitebriar as its Google partner

Santa Cruz Bicycles has run on Google since adopting G Suite in 2008. When Google Workspace brought new editions and licensing, IT Manager Kevin Clark turned to Suitebriar for guidance, starting with a licensing assessment, then help getting more from groups, Google Meet and Google Apps Manager (GAM). When a new HR platform meant replacing the company news feed, Kevin consulted Suitebriar's Customer Success expert, and Suitebriar went on to build the company's LumApps employee community, ready on day one of its new HR platform, and has kept refining the feed and its integration since.

Managed services FAQ

What IT leads ask before handing Google Workspace and Google Cloud support to a partner.

Need help today?

Tell us what you run on Google, how many people use it and where support falls short now, and we'll talk through a plan.

Is support really 24/7?

Yes. Our certified Google Workspace and Google Cloud support specialists are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for break/fix support and technical help.

How is this different from Google's own support?

Google's support starts with Basic for every Google Cloud customer, which covers documentation, community support and billing; 1:1 technical support comes with its paid Standard, Enhanced and Premium plans. With a partner, you contact the partner first, and the partner takes platform issues to Google. We add a named Technical Account Manager, admin training and usage reviews, and a direct escalation line to senior members of Google support.

Do your Google Cloud Platform managed services cover GCP as well as Workspace?

Yes. The plans include Workspace and GCP guidance, and our support specialists are certified in both Google Workspace and Google Cloud. GCP managed services cover advice across the whole Google Cloud platform as well as break/fix support.

Do you offer cloud migration and management services together?

Yes. A migration is a project of its own, covered on our Google Workspace migration and Google Cloud migration pages, and a support plan can pick up once you're running.

Can you manage our Google Workspace licenses?

Yes, if you buy Google Workspace through Suitebriar: as your reseller we can buy and change licenses, change payment methods and add services, and the Suitebriar Client Portal reports on your domain's usage and adoption.
